Olde Virginia Gourmet & Gifts has new location

A Stafford County retailer has relocated one door down from its former storefront in North Stafford Plaza.

Olde Virginia Gourmet & Gifts at 261 Garrisonville Road has been completely remerchandised, but still conveys the same old-fashioned country store “feel.”

Although the new space is a bit smaller than the original, the store carries more than 90 percent of its product lines. Owner Annabelle Tarallo plans to expand some of the more popular ones such as wine, beer, peanuts and sauces.

“We are getting better, not bigger,” she said. “It will allow us to concentrate and focus on the things that we do best.”

Olde Virginia Gourmet and Gifts opened in 1994 and will celebrate its 10th anniversary in September. It specializes in Virginia-made products including wine, beer, peanuts, snacks, candy, sauces, jellies, organic milks, coffee, tea and a large selection of gift items and custom gift baskets.
