Area jewelry designer to be featured on TV
A Westmoreland County woman will be the featured designer on JTV (Jewelry Television) on June 9.
Kathy Salamone of Mount Holly will be on the channel’s Jewelry School program from 10 a.m. to noon. She will be demonstrating how to work with Beadalon brand wire and solid rings to create trendy necklaces, bracelets, and rings.
Salamones received her degree in fine arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, and was trained in Italy at the renowned Accademia della Arti Crafe in Rome. Her work can be viewed at TailoredTreasure.com, and is displayed at such Virginia shops as The Art of Coffee in Montross.
