Skin care boutique to open downtown
Ladyburg, a modern skin care apothecary, will open in mid- to late-September at 807 Caroline St. in downtown Fredericksburg.
Owner Crystal Wellman will merge her skin care boutique, Crystal Clear Complexions at 104 William St., with the new business.
Ladyburg will feature a wide variety of skin care products for men, women and children, and well as skin care treatments.
Many of the products, from hand creams to shave creams, will be either clinical grade or handcrafted by regional artisans, including Wellman. She is an esthetician and trained gardener.
Ladyburg also will have a blending bar where customers can add essential oils to creams, body washes and other skin care products. Staff can help them decide which oils can help various skin conditions.
“We want this to be a very interactive store,” Wellman said.
