Books-a-Million to open by Aug. 1

Books-A-Million will open by Aug. 1 in the 26,000 square- foot space currently occupied by Joseph-Beth Booksellers at The Village at Towne Centre, the open-air section of Spotsylvania Towne Centre.

 Joseph-Beth filed for Chapter 11 protection earlier this year, and will close out its retail operation at The Village by the end of the month.

Books-A-Million is the country’s third-largest book retailer. In addition to books, magazines, collectible supplies, cards and gifts, its stores include a Joe Muggs Café that sells coffee, espresso, tea, desserts and brewing supplies.
