Expo Center’s bookings are up

  Looking for some good news on the economic front?

  The Fredericksburg Expo & Convention Center, which is located near Wegmans in Celebrate Virginia South, has seen an upswing in bookings for conventions and consumer shows, according to the most recent quarterly edition of issue of Fredericksburg Economic Development & Tourism News.

 Since December, the interest level in bookings for both consumer shows and for conventions and meetings is up 30 to 40 percent. Attendance at consumer shows since December is up 22 to 25 percent.
