GHOST WORLD: UMW’s Historic Preservation Club brings history to life with this weekend’s ghost walk. Listen as student tour guides tell ghost stories, including those of Hugh Mercer and the maids who started the fire of Fredericksburg in 1822. Meet at the James Monroe Law Office Museum, 908 Charles St. on Friday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5 to 10 p.m. $6 adults, $4 UMW faculty, staff and students with school ID, $3 ages 6–12 and free for under 5.
