Celebrate black history with music, song
King George Branch NAACP presents “Sounds of Music The Black Experience,” a black-history celebration on Saturday, Feb. 25, at King George Middle School, 8246 Dahlgren Road.
Guests and performances by Gaye Adegbalola, Anthony Campbell, Jim Thomas, Brian Bookhart, Hosanna Praise Dancers and Smoother Than Smooth Hand Dance Co. Honorees are Pauline Adams and Phyllis Ashton.
The program begins at 4 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m.
Cost is $30, $15 for ages 3–11. Vendor tables are available for $35, with dinner included.
