`Crap in the Rapp’

There’s still  a sign  up at City Dock warning people to stay out of the water, along with no boating or fishing, due to the sewage spill last Wednesday.  A  pump station malfunction at Caroline and Ford streets caused the spill, according to the city, and the impact was plainly  evident in the water, and along the shore. Richard Seely sent us the  picture  below that he shot at the landing, aptly, and sadly,  captioned “Crap in the Rapp.”  I was out there around lunch today, and there wasn’t much to see, or smell.  Tidal action over the weekend probably washed much of it away. No word yet on how much spilled.
