And Dominion Dominion Power wants to help you do just that, with an electric vehicle recharing pilot program. The State Corporation Commission has given its OK to the pilot , designed to test whether electric vehicle owners will choose to recharge their vehicles during off-peak hours–typically overnight–in exchange for lower electricity costs. Dominion will partner with car dealerships and charger installation vendors to get the word out to customers, who can sign up beginning  Oct. 3.
