Land conservation report
Virginia and other states in the Chesapeake Bay watershed are making strides in land conservation efforts, but more cooperation between government, conservation organizations and private industry are needed to speed up the process and meet a new goal of 1 million acres by 2025. Those are some key points in a study released today by the Chesapeake Bay Commission and the Chesapeake Conservancy.
