Earth Day in the ‘Burg

Old Mill Park is  this year’s venue for Fredericksburg’s Earth Day.  It’s all on Saturday, though Earth Day officially falls on Thursday. Friends of the Rappahannock is having its annual river cleanup beginning at 9 a.m.,  (register at 373-3448; lunch is provided). Then food, exhibits, family activities and music are available from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the park. Rappahannock Group of the Sierra Club,  FOR,  and  Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation are the sponsors. See my story  tomorrow for more details.
