Up close

I’ve been lucky enough to get a close look at some birds that are tough to get close to. The latest was at Possum Point Power Station Thursday. Biologists from William & Mary Center for conservation biology banded two peregrine falcon chicks.

 I thought the month-old birds would be smaller,a but, still covered with down they were about the size of a small crow.
