UMW hosting pair of international relations talks
The University of Mary Washington is hosting two talks in April focused on international relations, titled “Crisis in Crimea” and ”America and the Paradoxes of Palestinian-Israeli Peace.”
“Crisis in Crimea” will be a panel discussion hosted by the UMW Model United Nations. The discussion will be held on Wednesday, April 2 at 4:30 p.m. in Trinkle Hall, room 106A.
“Crisis in Crimea” will feature Nabil S. Al-Tikriti, associate professor of history and American studies, and John M. Kramer, chair and distinguished professor of political science and international affairs.
The event is free and open to the public.
On Wednesday, April 9, UMW is hosting the lecture “America and the Paradoxes of Palestinian-Israeli Peace” by Khaled Elgindy, a fellow with the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution.
“America and the Paradoxes of Palestinian-Israeli Peace” will be held at 7 p.m. in Lee Hall, room 411. The lecture is sponsored by UMW’s campus academic resources committee and the department of political science and international affairs.
This event is also free and open to the public.
