Beginning this morning, Nov. 4, and continuing through Tuesday, Dec. 3, a new phase of construction begins at the University of Mary Washington‘s Campus Center work site on College Avenue in Fredericksburg.

Crews will begin the installation of a structural support system,”which  can be a moderately noisy operation,” according to a UMW staff newsletter.

According to the notice, UMW personnel will be familiar with this process since similar construction, and noise levels, took place at the IT Convergence Center and at Eagle Village during the early phases of those projects.

The  work will be restricted to regular hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
