Starting at 11 p.m. Friday, the HOV lanes—from Turkeycock (Edsall Road) to Dumfries Road (Route 234)—will be closed on I-95 and Interstate 395, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. The lanes will stay closed until 8 a.m. Saturday. During the closure, the northern section of the HOV lanes, from Turkeycock to Washington, D.C., will be open for southbound traffic.

The same closure will be in effect between 11 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

A shorter section of the HOV lanes will be closed part of Saturday.

Starting at 8 a.m., the HOV lanes will be closed from Turkeycock to the Franconia-Springfield Parkway. The lanes will be open for southbound traffic from the Franconia-Springfield Parkway to Dumfries Road, but that section will close at 2 p.m.

The HOV lanes will be open for northbound traffic Sunday.
