I-95 lanes to be closed tonight for sign work
Two lanes of northbound Interstate 95 in the area of the Fall Hill Avenue overpass will be closed overnight so crews can install an overhead sign, the Virginia Department of Transportation said in a release.
The lanes are scheduled to close at 9 tonight and open at 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
The work zone will be between the U.S. 17 exit in Stafford and the State Route 3 exit in Fredericksburg.
Drivers can use U.S. 1 to avoid delays on the interstate, VDOT said.
The work was scheduled to be done overnight Monday but was postponed, according to VDOT.
