Staffordboro paving work postponed
The paving work planned for Staffordboro Boulevard the next two weekends has been postponed.
The work is currently being rescheduled, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The paving work was set to shut down Staffordboro Boulevard in North Stafford the next two weekends.
The road will be closed between the Stafford Marketplace shopping center and Woodstream Boulevard. Staffordboro runs between the shopping center and the commuter lot. During the closure, traffic will be detoured through the commuter lot.
Staffordboro will close at 7 p.m. Friday, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. It is scheduled to reopen just after midnight on Monday. The paving operation is slated to continue the following weekend on the same schedule.
