Car runs into brick wall on Cowan

UPDATE (9:24 a.m.): Cowan is open.
UPDATE (8:58 A.M.): One westbound lane is now open.
The westbound lane of Cowan Boulevard in the city could be closed for a while as there has been a serious crash.
From Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe:
We are currently working a serious motor vehicle crash, single vehicle into the brick wall at the entrance to the Preserves on Cowan Blvd. Cowan Blvd westbound is closed just past Hospital Drive until further notice.
