VRE’s holiday schedule: no New Year’s day service
The Virginia Railway Express is running on its “S” schedule, according to the commuter rail service’s Train Talk alert:

As a reminder, VRE will operate on the “S” schedule … December 31. Only those trains designated with an “S” on the schedule will operate.
VRE will NOT operate on Tuesday, January 1. Regular service will resume on Wednesday, January 2. Happy New Year!
