Tractor-trailer crashes on I-95 in Massaponax

According to WFLS, a tractor-trailer crashed earlier this morning on northbound Interstate 95 near mile marker 125, just south of the Massaponax exit. The rig overturned and ended up on the guardrail, WFLS reported. A listener called the station and said he helped get the tractor-trailer driver out.

The right shoulder and a portion of the right lane are closed, however, as crews are working to get the rig upright. The contents of the tractor-trailer might have to be unloaded, the station reported. Expect potential delays in the area.

The Virginia Department of Transportation’s 511 site is showing no slowdowns. The VDOT video camera at mile marker 126.70 shows free-flowing traffic.

Crews work to remove a tractor-trailer that overturned onto a guardrail along Interstate 95 Thursday morning in Massaponax.
