Expect delays with U.S. 1 northbound work
Construction work will shut down a lane of northbound U.S. 1 from Idlewild Boulevard to the Spotsylvania county line, the city said in an alert this morning.
The work zone will run for about a mile, so expect delays and consider alternate routes.
The lane closure is expected to last all day.
