Church work will shut down part of Princess Anne Street Friday
A section of Princess Anne Street will be closed Friday so work can be done on the Fredericksburg Baptist Church steeple, according to a release from the city.
The lanes will be closed because a crane will have to be set up in the middle of the street.
The closure will be in the 1000 block, between Amelia and William streets, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
A detour will take traffic to Amelia Street, Prince Edward Street and William Street where traffic will be able to turn back onto Princess Anne Street.
If it rains Friday, the work will be rescheduled for Saturday.
