Fundraiser in works for Griczin family
In response to the recent story about the Griczin family of Spotsylvania, many readers have called and sent emails wondering how to help. You all should get a chance to help soon as family friends are planning to hold a fundraiser in the coming weeks.
For those unfamiliar with the story, Katelyn Griczin, the teenage daughter of Marjorie and James Griczin, was seriously injured in a car crash in April and the ensuing medical bills and loss of time at work have put the family in a bad situation.
Marjorie said this week that they recently completed filing for bankruptcy and just learned that college loans for Katelyn and her brother, James, were rejected.
The fundraiser is planned for Oct. 13. Details aren’t complete yet, but keep an eye open for details soon.
