More From The Party Of “No”

People need the Medicaid Expansion.  Without it millions will go without the healthcare they need, and or pay higher prices for their insurance.

Each state gets to decide to expand or not.  The Federal government will pay 100% of the expansion for the first three years, then 90% afterward.  So why not expand it?  In Virginia and many other states Republicans are saying no because it’s government spending and they argue they don’t trust the federal government.  Of course the biggest reason is that it might make Obama look good, thus making the Affordable Health Care Act look good.  Republicans complain when it doesn’t work, then do everything in their power to keep it from working.

Hey, it’s just politics.  Who cares if anyone dies?  Right?

Here’s another funny thing:  Medicaid is already a federal program which Virginia taxpayers pay into…except many won’t have access to it despite that.

A thing about comments

I don’t delete comments.  I never have.  I don’t ask for them to be deleted and I’ve never done that either.  There’s been a few accusations that I do.  I really don’t care what people post.  It’s my job to make you think about the issue, not to make you agree with me.  On top of all that, my editors are NOT trying to protect me.  Trust me on that one.  My pride, embarrassment, dignity, etc., is not a top priority for them.

So in the future, if you have a comment deleted, I probably didn’t even get a chance to see it.  Insult me all you want, don’t insult others who comment here.  Argue with a little respect…..somewhat.  Have fun and bring it.  I’m a big boy and I can take it.
