Obama and Romney are trading jabs about outsourcing.  Apparently, they’re both right.  Romney outsourced jobs as the head of Bain.  The government under Obama’s watch has given grants and funding to companies that have outsourced.  Will the attacks stick?  Will the voters care?  I think they will care to an extent.

Romney chose to outsource.  Obama has not.  But if Romney can convince voters he can turn the economy around, I think he’ll get a pass on this.  But it’s hard to run for president talking about creating jobs when you sent jobs overseas.  Of course this is a candidate that’s taken every liberal position as governor of Massachusetts and turned around on each of them to run as a conservative for president.  It’ll add to the reasons the man is disingenuous.

I’m also curious how the stories of Romney stashing his money into offshore accounts will resonate with voters.  Romney has money in Switzerland, The Cayman Islands and throughout Bermuda.  There are only two reasons to stash money offshore and those are to avoid paying taxes on it and you have more faith in other governments’ dollars than you do in American currency.  Romney’s only response to this is “how dare they bring this up.”  Yeah, that’ll work all the way until November, Mittens.  I plan to do a toon on this in the coming days.
