I’d explain what’s happening at the University of Virginia, but I don’t know.

The president was ousted over “philisophical differences”, there’s been huge protests, professors are resigning, there are calls for the regents to resign, people want the governor to jump in…and quite frankly, nobody seems to know what has caused this.

But if professors are leaving and there’s instability, it will hurt the entire university.  Of course it’ll bounce back.  It’s a great university.  But for the short term, donors may be afraid to put money into the school.  And not those donors who buy new lockers rooms for the basketball teams.  I’m talking about those rich enough to buy buildings and equipment that actually goes into higher education.  All this might also affect future students and teachers from choosing UVA.

Now about this movie, yeah I gotta see it.  It could be the worst thing ever, or the best thing ever.  One thing that bugs me about the trailer is the Washington Monument.  It’s in the trailer, yet it wasn’t completed until after Lincoln died.  I have more issue with that historical inaccuracy than the fact Abraham Lincoln is killing vampires.

Here’s the rough.

I had a hard time coming up with an idea on this subject today.  It was getting late and I created the Jefferson Monument idea.  I didn’t hate it but I didn’t exactly love it either.  Plus, I knew there had to be something in there with the whole vampire killing thing.
