I’m kinda mixed about celebrity endorsements. I believe everyone has a right to participate in politics. But at the same time I don’t think a celebrity is above anyone else in supporting a candidate. I don’t want to say “stick to what you know best”, but at the same time I prefer them when they do what they do best.
Sarah Jessica Parker, of Sex And The City, is hosting a fundraiser for Obama. That’s nice. However, I don’t care. Yeah, both candidates are having huge fundraisers after fundraisers. I’m more interested in what political interest is going to be repaid from a politician. The GOP has actually started attacking Parker over this with some even insulting her looks. That’s kind of pathetic.
Sex And The City is like th 7th circle of Hell for most men. Isn’t it just about a bunch of older and slutty old ladies? I had a girlfriend who watched it and I’d try to avoid seeing her while it was on. My little sister was dating a guy who was into the show as much as she was. I told her to break up with that guy. Another girlfriend made me watch Bridget Jones’ Diary and for that I should have been rewarded major massive amounts of brownie points. Didn’t happen.
Here’s the rough.
