This might be the saddest cartoon I’ve ever drawn.  A page designer said it made her sad and she hopes nobody thinks I’m trying to be funny.  I’m sure someone will and those people always write letters.  I don’t let that discourage me or distract me from doing my job.

I wasn’t even sure this worked as I roughed it out.  After showing it to a friend in advertising I knew it worked.
