Republicans are highly critical of Obama’s airing a campaign focusing on his killing of Osama bin Laden, and “what would Mitt Romney have done?.”  They have a point.  Obama, who said “we wouldn’t spike the football” is now using the issue to score political points.  Of course, these Republican critics sat on their hands when George W. Bush landed a plane on an aircraft carrier, paraded around in a flight uniform and gave a speech underneath  a huge banner reading “Mission Accomplished.”

Even if it’s a bit tasteless for Obama to use bin Laden in a campaign ad, he does have a point.  Mitt Romney said he wouldn’t waste so much money or manpower to take out one individual.

It really doesn’t matter what Obama does.  Republicans hate it.  He goes on a talk show and they hate it and applaud or ignore when Mitt Romney does it.  They even hated that he stole their model for a healthcare system so much, they’re taking him to court for it.  They hate when he’s successful in foreign policy, which he is.  They hate the economy is rebounding and failing to mention that Obama did inherit Bush’s economy and the net job loss was before any of Obama’s policies went into effect.

When bin Laden was killed, Republicans went to great lengths not to give the president any credit.  Maybe Obama does need to remind them.

Here’s the rough.
