Bob McDonnell, our illustrious governor, was all for the personhood bill and the transvaginal bill.  That is, until the national media, tons of protestors and a Hell of a lot of comedians, came down hard on it.  He had a change of heart.  He was probably thinking about his potential as a Vice Presidential candidate.  Would Mitt Romney want the Transvag guy on his ticket?  It may be too late to repair the damage for Bob.

It’s really ridiculous.  We need to identify a fetus as a person, force women to undergo ultrasounds and in 2012 we’re still arguing about birth control.  The GOP isn’t just waging a war on women or showing their the party for zealots, but they’re also showing they’re the party of stupid.  They finally take the General Assembly, and just like taking Congress, instead of focusing on jobs and the economy, they focus on wombs and what’s going on in your bedroom.  It’s like someone else said in regards to one of the GOP’s presidential candidates:  Rick Santorum thinks about gay sex more than gays think about gay sex.

It’s also ironic (or is it merely hypocritical), that the GOP says the government has no right to force anyone to have insurance for their health, but the government can mandate what a women does with her body.  I think the concept of “irony” and “hypocrisy” escapes most Republicans.  Kind of like how humor escapes editors.

On another note:  It’s not every week where I can put the word “transvaginal” in a cartoon…TWICE!!!

Here’s the rough.
