I was surprised my editor went for this, and I was surprised he loved it.

Governor Bob said he didn’t know Fred Malek, his appointee to the Governor’s Commission on Government Reform and Restructuring, was counting Jews for Nixon, or in 2003 the Securities and Exchange Commission forced him to pay $100,000 and his company $150,000 in fines..  Gov Bob went on to say “people that have been in business 20, 30, 40, 50 years often have regulatory violations.”  Nice, Bob.

So Bob, who’s known this guy for six years, who was included in a book by Bob Woodward on Watergate, who’s been a H.U.G.E. Republican donor forever, didn’t know about the Jew counting or the SEC trouble.  That just makes Bob clueless, or a liar.
