Coming in first with 159 votes in our Weekly Challenge is Daryl Scott of Stafford. Daryl wins the original cartoon with his caption inked in by me, along with having it run in Saturday’s Free Lance-Star on page two.
Coming in second with 81 votes is Dale Stout of Colorado Springs, Colorado who submitted “This just in: Scientists decode NCAA brackets”.
Coming in third with 76 votes is, again, Daryl Scott, who submitted “I’m not much good at this. Remember Massachusetts and Virginia?”.
Coming in fourth with 63 votes is Mary Raye Cox of Falmouth who submitted “Even the Mad Hatter would have troubles with this bunny trail!”.
Caption contest #66 is still up and you have a little time left to enter. Next week we’ll post it on the weekly challenge for readers to vote between four finalists. Next Saturday we’ll post the winner. This Wednesday we’ll start #67. Yes, it’s confusing. Just keep entering and voting and we’ll take care of the rest of the details.
