Guess what I google imaged yesterday. I’m not a big fan of drawing mascots, but this one turned out easy. Usually when I draw a mascot or an established cartoon character (like Yogi Bear, Snoopy, Spongebob), it can be very boring. I’m sure this guy has a name and someone will now let me know what it is, but he wasn’t boring to draw. He’s got a great expression which reminds me of people I know.
Here’s the rough.
After I copied the guy from whatever website I found him on, I put the rough on my drawing table and just copied that. Even though I was drawing something which was established by someone else, I still like to inject my own style into it.
NO CAPTION CONTEST THIS WEEK!!!
I will be out of town from Friday to Monday and I don’t want to throw the judging and caption inking onto someone else. Nobody here has done anything bad enough to deserve that.
We’ll return the contest next week.
