I’m pretty happy with my hamster wheel.  It’s the day after I drew it and looking at it again, hey….it doesn’t suck.  I google imaged hamster wheels like crazy.  I saw a lot of hamsters.  A couple of people in the office said nice things…and one person made a comment about Barney Frank and hamsters which was probably innapropriate…but hey, the toon works.

Oliphant

I would say "Oliphant is in trouble again", but he’s Pat Oliphant and he’s never in trouble.  But he has pissed off a lot of people during his career and this week it’s the Anti-Defamation League. I’ve seen cartoons of his before that did seem pretty racist, but not the one upsetting people this week.  It’s a strong cartoon which uses images the Anti-Defamation League thinks should never be used…but that doesn’t make it hate.

I was watching The Office once and someone pooped in Steve Carrell’s office.  He called it a "hate crime"…one of his employees says it’s not a hate crime…and Carrell screams "well I hated it".  Kind of the same thing here.  Someone pooped on Israel and the Anti-Defamation League hated it…but it’s not a hate crime.
