I looked at a couple of toon sites today and everyone and their brother is drawing on AIG.  Mine’s better.  HAHAHA!!!!  People have a right to be outraged by this.  This is our money.  This company pleaded for a bailout and now they’re giving it away to people who ran the company into the position it needed a bailout.  Dammit, now I’m mad again.

Here’s Monday’s cartoon.

I don’t normally draw a cartoon for Monday.  My editor asked me to come in on Sunday and do a local congratulatory toon for the basketball teams.  Congrats to those teams.  Honestly, I hate cartoons like this.  I don’t even think it’s a cartoon.  

If I didn’t do this cartoon I would have had a huge fight.  When cartoonists are being laid off left and right, fine.  I’ll come in on a Sunday and do a nice kudos cartoon.   But when I do a nice cartoon I totally expect that to give me leeway to kick someone’s ass this week.
