This is a cliche, I know…I’m guilty.  But after talking to several people who clawed their to and from Washington on Inauguration Day I felt it fit better than any other idea.  Hey, at least I didn’t draw Obama and Lincoln like several other cartoonists did.

Sorry no blog yesterday (this toon ran on Thursday), but I took the day off and didn’t venture anywhere near a computer.

A lot of people have complained to me about not being able to see some of the live blog sketches.  I heard through word of mouth, email and text messaging (from those who know me).  I apologize and will talk to our online team about it.  I also received some complaints from people who saw the caption contest in the newspaper that they couldn’t figure out how to enter the contest.  It seems they couldn’t figure out to come to the blog page.  Hopefully, we can fix that too.
