Here’s a couple of bonuses for the live oblog. These were under consideration for tomorrow’s paper but we chose something else, so I figured let’s throw ‘em on the blog.

Don’t you hate it when you move and you can’t find anything? After six months in my new place I still can’t find my Clash T-shirt.

I liked the direction of this toon but I wasn’t sure about the rhino being the right image. Dave Smalley suggested a bear and have the new Prez looking for bear repellent. That would make a lot of sense because most people don’t like being mauled by bears.

You could put Obama’s image, logo, slogan, whatever, on a litterbox and it would sell. I kinda liked this one.

It’s been a long day and tomorrow’s toon is finally done. A lot of coffee, cokes, pizza and chicken nuggets (thanks, Hammer) were consumed. Did you see all that blog stuff from our staff who ventured up to D.C.? I thought I had a difficult day but decided to stop whining when I heard about the "adventures" of a few of my colleagues. Emily Battle Freehling, Ellen Biltz, Becky Sell, Susannah Clark, Andrea Nealon and Loren Orsini covered the inauguration from Washington and their day made mine look like cake.
