Vick cut a deal with Virginia yesterday and he’ll be out by July and probably in an NFL uniform in August.

NYT correction

Rob Tornoe posted this and it was too good not to snake from him.    Rob calls it "the best New York Times correction ever" and that about sums it up.  Just in time for Thanksgiving.

Ya gotta be kidding me

I got this from an e-mail cartoonist John Cole sent.  The Publisher of the Rock Hill (SC) Herald was so upset about a syndicated cartoon, she wrote an op-ed chewing out her editors for running it.  Now there will be a committee to select cartoons to save the Rock Hill community from further exposure to offensive turkey/automaker analogy cartoons.

I can’t tell you the creator of the cartoon because the publisher didn’t include that in her manifesto, and I can’t figure out who it was because there’s been a ton of lousy turkey cartoons (I only drew one lousy turkey cartoon this year, thank you).  If the publisher was upset with a column you know she’d name the author.  Do cartoons fall off trees or write themselves?  I don’t think so.  So I will not name this publisher…you’ll just have to click the link.

I think the publisher of the Rock Hill Herald should only read Hallmark cards.
