I had this idea several days before I drew it.  I was hanging out for Monday night football with a couple of buddies, one being a Cowboy fan (cool guy despite that) and one being a Lion fan.  The game we were were watching was so lopsided that we started talking about the bailouts.  And ribbing my Detroit friend, I said "why should we trust these guys to do anything great with the money when they can’t even run a football team?".  That’s when the light bulb hit.

People always ask "how do you get your ideas" and there’s rarely an answer…but sometimes chicken wings are present.
