Since Danny ruined Sunday’s cartoon for me I had to take another shot at him.  My editor was concerned I’ve done too many Redskins cartoons over the past couple weeks, but hey…it’s news.  It’s big news too seeing how they had a pretty shoddy hiring process then they settle on a QB coach.  And I got to take another shot at Hillary.  Where are all those letter writers who claim I never hit Democrats?

Here’s the rough for the cartoon.

My editor told me I could go with this idea (see below) but I was afraid someone else would think of it.  I bet someone does now that it’s on the blog and I didn’t officially go with it.  Honestly, I wanted to draw it just because it’s fun to have Clinton flying in the air and I wanted to draw the stars sticking out beyond the borders.

Jim Borgman once wrote that some times he’d put a rough or an idea on his blog then another cartoonist would steal it.  I haven’t really seen that  happen yet.  And if someone does this cartoon I don’t think I’ll be in a position to accuse anyone of theft as it’s probably just an obvious idea.  Case in point: Robert Ariail drew this cartoon and I drew it two weeks ago.
