I really liked today’s cartoon.  If someone else had drawn it I think I would still like it.  You’ll see from the rough that I had to change the first panel’s text.  My editors didn’t like it.  I’m not sure they were crazy about the entire cartoon but it was the first panel that really bugged ‘em.

I got the idea after reading a news story about how Bush thinks each poll result is a positive on his administration.  It’s kinda scary to think this guy who started this war, and who’s still in charge of it, has a huge problem with reality.

I went to a ball game last night.  I took the kid and the sis.  I bought tickets for the cheap seats and printed them out myself.  Did you know 3 X $5 = $30?  According to Major League Baseball it does.  After several “convenience” fees and even a charge to let me print them myself, that upped the cost a lot.  So we get there and really enjoy ourselves with the $6 hotdogs and Cracker Jacks.  They make the movies look cheap.  Then of course, the Dodgers whomped all over the Nats giving them their worse loss of the year.  I think Luis Gonzalez’s homer would have been more enjoyable if he was wearing a Nat’s uniform.
