I really hope this cartoon isn’t floating around somewhere out there. It’s possible. The idea seemed really obvious, but I hadn’t seen it yet. I think between me and every other cartoonist out there, we’ve run the wall analogy into the ground.
I got to draw three things here I enjoy drawing. Bush, elephants and cacti. I used a Micron Pigma (my favorite drawing utensil) to letter and draw most of the toon. I used a fine point Sharpie for the wall along with the Micron. The shading on the wall is your standard ball point pen you can swipe from the bank.
I’ve decided to decrease my use of the ball points since my last reprint in the Post. There were four toons on the page and the lines on mine appeared very faint next to the other toons.
CMJ
So I picked up my son, CMJ, Saturday night in Baltimore. He’s here for the summer. Last night I brought home a bag of cheese pop corn and some soft drinks and we sat in his room and watched Tenacious D in The Pick Of Destiny. CMJ likes stupid comedies as much as I do. I have a big stack of DVDs we’re going to spend the summer watching.
