Sorry there wasn’t a blog yesterday.  The cartoon intended for yesterday’s paper was spiked at the last minute so there wasn’t time for me to replace it with another original idea.

The reason I chose the “youtube” version of the “wiggle” version was because it was simpler and everyone who saw it liked it better.  The wiggle version is a bit tougher which is what I normally wanna do.

Here’s the toon that was killed

This wasn’t killed because of taste or fairness.  It was killed because my editor didn’t get it.  But I think I draw a decent Douglas Wilder.  I also found out (from all the researching) that Jell-0 is the official snack food of Utah.  I used to date a girl from Utah and now I really wish I was aware of how much she liked Jell-0.
