Dave and Hilary, two of my co-workers, are annoyed with me because I got this song stuck in their heads. It was stuck in mine too. Today I’m trying not to read my own cartoon in fear of it returning. Agh, crap. Too late. This also reminded each of us of “Young Frankenstein”. Great movie. Plus, I had to sing this song to my editor to remind him what song I was parodying. I had to sing to get a cartoon approved. First time for that one.
Cartoons and Cocktails
Tonight I’m attending the 18th annual Cartoons and Cocktails. This is an event at the National Press Club in D.C. where original cartoons are auctioned off to benefit teen journalists, teen cartoonists and international cartoonists facing reprisals (like in India, Indonesia, Iran, Egypt, Wisconsin….) It’s lots of fun and supports some great causes. If you’re around D.C. tonight and in a suit, stop by. You might be able to purchase an original of a very famous cartoonist.
