I always tell myself not to forget this. I even told myself yesterday to be sure to include it. But rushing to meet the deadline I somehow forgot it. It’s not the first time.
These paycheck loan places bug me. I’d hate to be a person who makes a profit on someone spending their paycheck before they receive it. And on top of that there’s interest. It’s worse than those “you keep the car, we’ll keep the title” places.
Yesterday’s toon was on the pear drop.

Sorry, Fredericksburg. The Pear was unique a few years ago but I think it’s time has passed. As much history as this town has can’t we find something we want to be known for other than dropping a pear from a fire truck?
But that’s just me.
