Stimpson, Thomas to lead Stafford board

Susan Stimpson will keep her spot as the chairman of Stafford’s Board of Supervisors for a second year, with Bob Thomas as the vice chairman.

There were no other nominations at Tuesday’s meeting, the first of 2013.

Stimpson was selected with a 5-2 vote (Cord Sterling and Paul Milde against). Thomas was selected with a 6-1 vote (Sterling against).
