Budget hearing to be in board chambers

Here is a schedule from the county about the remainder of the budget process:

*Wednesday, April 4 – Work Session on the FY13 Budget and the FY 2013 – FY 2022 CIP with the School Board

• The Board of Supervisors will conduct a work session with the School Board at 5 p.m. in Conference Room ABC of the George L. Gordon, Jr., Government Center, 1300 Courthouse Road.

*Wednesday, April 4 – Public Hearing on FY13 Budget and Tax Rates and FY 2013 – FY 2022 CIP

• The Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY13 Budget, Calendar Year 2012 tax rates and FY 2013 – FY 2022 CIP at 7 p.m. in the Board Chambers of the George L. Gordon, Jr., Government Center.

*Tuesday, April 17 – Adoption of FY13 Budget and tax rates, and FY 2013 – FY 2022 CIP

• The Board is scheduled to adopt the FY13 Budget and tax rates, and FY 2013 – FY 2022 CIP at its regular meeting which begins at 3 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Board Chambers.
