Here are preliminary Board of Supervisors results from the State Board of Elections as of about 8:30 p.m.:
Griffis-Widewater District
This three-way race for the empty seat seems to be split fairly evenly, right now. Only two precincts of five are reporting so far, but here’s what the numbers show:
Keith Angle (R) – 26 percent, Fred Sweat (D) – 35 percent, Jack Cavalier (I) – 38 percent
George Washington District
With four of five precincts reporting: Bob Thomas (R) looks to be taking the lead with 58 percent, Charles Latimer (D) with 42 percent.
Rock Hill District
With three of five precincts reporting: Cord Sterling (R-incumbent) is at 72 percent of the vote, Dean Fetterolf (I) with 27 percent.
