Sweat For Supervisor

Fred C. Sweat has announced he will run for Griffis-Widewater District supervisor in Stafford County. Sweat, the Democratic nominee, will face Republican challenger Keith Angle in the Nov. 8 election.

Sweat is the owner of Sunnyside Nursery on U.S. 1 in the Boswell’s Corner area of North Stafford. He says he will support environmental protection, education and an open government.

“I will be open with government business and I will encourage community involvement,” Sweat wrote in his press release. “Fresh and innovative ideas will always be welcome.”
