Old News, But Good News

I had heard about this last week, but was hesitant to say anything until Planning Commissioner and former George Washington District supervisor Pete Fields addressed the issue himself.

Turns out he had a heart attack two weeks ago.

He talked about it during last Wednesday’s Planning Commission meeting, saying that he had an angioplasty and spent some time in Mary Washington Hospital. “I’m actually better than I was before,” he said. He was healthy enough to attend last week’s full meeting, and did not miss a single meeting due to the heart attack.

He also commended the members of the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department, who transported him to the hospital.

“Many big thanks to those folks,” he said.

We wish you well. It was probably precipitated by all the crap on the planning commission and the BOS.
